WHAT IS THE CERAMIC COATING APPLICATION PROCESS USED BY FINE FINISH AUTO DETAILING?

PREP VEHICLE – Hand Wash, Cleaning of Rims & Tires, Tire shine, Cleaning of Windows and door jambs.
IRON REMOVER – This step removes brake dust, iron deposits, and other embedded metallic contamination from your vehicle’s paint panels before they can damage your vehicle.
CLAY BAR – Our clay bar treatment safely removes embedded contamination from your vehicle’s paint that remains after a regular wash. This leaves your vehicle feeling like glass
POLISH – The objective of polishing is to remove any paint imperfections such as swirls, scratches, oxidation, and watermarks.
COATING APPLICATION – This is the final step to protect and preserve your paint for years to come.

HOW DO I MAINTAIN MY CERAMIC COATED VEHICLE?

WASHING

• Always use a ph neutral soap that contains no added waxes or conditioners, such as IGL Blizzard.
• Never wash your vehicle in direct sunlight. The radiation of the sun will cause a hot paint surface, this can cause surface marring during washing and drying stages. Always wash your vehicle when the paint is cool.
• Fully rinse the vehicle prior to washing, this ensures all loose debris is rinsed off before the washing process. Pre rinse vehicle in a shaded environment.
• Wash the vehicle from the top-down, leaving the dirtiest sections for last to avoid cross contamination.
• Always use a separate sponge/mitt/towel for the wheels to prevent cross contamination.

DRYING

For best results, use quality microfiber/drying towels. DO NOT allow vehicle to air dry. Tap or hard water contains minerals that may leave deposits, creating water spots.

Avoid aggressive wiping, allow the microfiber/drying towel to absorb the water. We recommend dabbing or blotting the drying towel on the surface, allowing the water to absorb into the towel. We recommend using a leaf blower to get as much water off the surface as possible. Always use separate microfiber/drying towels for rims, wheels and door jambs.
